Private boat storage: May 31, 2020
Registering after this date will result in private equipment being placed on outside racks, and their previously occupied rack being given to another member
Private boat storage is not included in any membership and must be paid in addition to the membership fee. Storage space is limited and not all members are guaranteed a storage rack. Please speak with Head Coach Jennifer about single storage.
No regatta fees are included in competitive fees, all regatta fees are now paid in addition to the membership fees. This membership does not include boat storage. Boat storage is extra and with the approval of the board. If competing at a regatta for DRC you will be required to purchase a DRC Unisuit ($95).
Single boat storage (no membership)
Single boat storage will be offered for 2020. This is very limited and will be upon board approval due to available space. The storage racks will be non-accessible, and if the owner needs to access the boat, they will need to contact the club (via email or phone) to arrange for the boat to be brought down out of storage, a minimum of 24hrs in advance, more time is ideal.
The DRC will require membership and boat storage payment prior to May 31, 2020. If payment is not received by May 31, 2019, the Private boat will be put on outside racks on the north side of the building. The DRC will not be responsible for any damage to the privately owned boats that have been placed on the outside racks. Even with the new addition, there is still limited space for private boats, so any new single sculler memberships will need to be approved by the board of directors.
Additional private boats will be charged the appropriate rack fee in addition to membership fees. Storage of additional boats will need to have board approval, due to the limited amount of space.
Trailering: Private boats will be permitted on the trailer if there is space, and for a cost. The DRC will not be responsible for any damage to private boats if the owner decides to transport their equipment on the DRC trailer.
