Competitive Rowing
Durham Rowing Club competitive rowing program is for motivated athletes with rowing experience, and are dedicated to year round training. Competitive rowers are expected to train to participate at a variety of regattas throughout the summer and fall rowing seasons. We offer a variety of competitive programs that are geared towards all ages (Junior, U23, Senior, Masters).

Monday to Friday: 5:15 am - 7:00 am
Saturdays: 6:00 am - 8:00 am

* - Masters competitors are over the age of 21 and are not planning on racing for a University Team in the fall.
Registration
Price: $730
To register for competitive rowing, click on the button below to create/login to your Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA) account. Make sure you select the Durham Rowing Club as your home club, program you wish to join, and complete all required waivers.
After registering to the program pay your membership fees by:

Once registered & paid, you will receive a email to confirm your registration and a link to the weekly sign up sheet. You must complete all registration requirements, including reviewing the Safe Sport Policy, prior to your first session!
Regatta fees are not included in the competitive rowing fee, all regatta fees are paid in addition to the membership fees. When competing at a regatta, you will be required to purchase a Durham Rowing Club unisuit (available at the boathouse).

Competitive rowing runs from May - September each year.

This membership does not include boat storage. Boat storage is extra and with the approval of the board.

This membership does not cover Regatta fees, cost trailering of equipment or competitive uniforms.

The Durham Rowing Club trailer may not travel to all regattas. Single sculler boats may travel on the trailer if there is room & must pay a fee. Durham Rowing Club is not liable for any damages during boat transit.

Rowing signup page is to allow coaches and staff to organize each row prior to the start time so participants have the maximum time on the water. If you do not sign up we can not garuntee you a spot in a boat.

Rowers are expected to be at the boathouse ready to row at the start time, please do not be late.

Participants signed up will be notified as early as possible if the session is cancelled. Cancellations could be due to many reasons (i.e., inclement weather, number of participants registered, emergencies, etc.
