Durham Rowing Clubs Learn to Row program is designed for participants with no previous rowing experience who wish to learn the fundamentals of rowing. During this six (6) session program, you will learn the necessary skills to transition in to our recreational or competitive programs. If you want to learn a new skill, meet new people, enjoy the outdoors and have some fun while doing it, Learn to Row is for you!
Session 1: May 21, 23, 28, 30, June 4 & 6
Session 2: June 11,13, 18, 20, 25 & 27
Session 3: July 2, 4, 9, 11, 16 & 18
Session 4: August 6, 8, 13, 15, 20 & 22

Price: $335
To register for Learn to Row, click on the button below to create/login to your Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA) account. Make sure you select the Durham Rowing Club as your home club, program you wish to join, and complete all required waivers.
After registering to the program pay your membership fees by:

Once registered & paid, you will receive a email to confirm your registration and a link to the weekly sign up sheet. You must complete all registration requirements, including reviewing the Safe Sport Policy, prior to your first session!

All equipment, instructors, and safety boats are included in your registration fee.

Please wear comfortable workout clothing, socks, and running shoes for your sessions. Additionally, you may wish to bring a water bottle, sunscreen, bug spray, a hat, and/or sunglasses.

Rowing is a water sport so there is a potential for you to get wet, so you may want to bring a change of clothing and a towel.

Rowers are expected to be at the boathouse ready to row at the start time, please do not be late

Participants signed up will be notified as early as possible if the session is cancelled. Cancellations could be due to many reasons (i.e., inclimate weather, number of participants registarted, emergency, etc.). If your session is cancelled, a makeup session will be offered.
